If you are travelling with children under the age of 12, you are entitled to complementary seat assignments for no extra cost. During booking of your flight you can select seats as per your choice at no extra charge. You can also contact Biman reservations directly to be seated or review reservation 36 hours after booking to validate seat assignments.

In case of seats are not pre-selected, we will facilitate seat assignment of children in close proximity of their accompanied legitimate guardian during check-in at no additional charge. If assigning seats is not possible during check-in, we will ask passengers for volunteers to change seats at the time of boarding to facilitate sit together. If no passenger has volunteered to change seats at boarding point, we will again look for volunteers to re-allocate seats before take-off.

Children under the age of 5 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older when travelling. We will make sure their seating in the same cabin and be seated adjacent to the young child. Unaccompanied minor (age of minor at last birthday 5 to 11 years of age) should be seated near galley area for close observation of cabin attendants. Children at the last birthday under 5 years of age not accepted under any conditions without an accompanying adult/guardian.

Seat Assignment Priority: Children under 12 years will be seated next to or close to an accompanying adult at no extra charge, even in cases of economy seating.

Seat Blocking: Biman will make every reasonable effort to block adjacent seats for families traveling with young children until 48 hours before departure, when any unassigned seats will be released.

Advanced Seat Request: Families are encouraged to request specific seats during booking. For bookings made within 48 hours of departure, priority seating arrangements will be provided at check-in or gate-level adjustments.
